Our students get  FREE CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING MANUALS and
FREE CPR FACE SHIELDS.
To obtain a license for childcare in California, providers are required to take pediatric first aid, pediatric
CPR, California Preventive Health & Safety.  Course completion cards must have State of California
Emergency Medical Services Authority, EMSA , stickers attached.  We give the EMSA approved courses
and attach EMSA stickers to your course completion cards.
What is the difference between American Heart Association AHA Basic Life Support for
Healthcare Providers CPR AID course  and American Red Cross ARC CPR/AED for the
Professional Rescuer course?
The courses are similar in content, but the teaching approaches are slightly different.  Before you pay money for a
course, check with the licensing agency or employer to make sure they will accept the course you are planning on
taking.
Hospitals in Southern California usually  only accept course completion cards from
American Heart Association courses:  
American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR/AED,  
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support,  ACLS
American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support, PALS
